How does Project Sabeel empower low-income families?
How does Project Sabeel empower low-income families?
We support home-based cooks from low-income families by helping them attain WSQ (Workforce Skills Qualifications) certification, which is a recognised standard in food hygiene and preparation in Singapore. Once certified, these cooks are given paid opportunities to prepare meals for our weekly and seasonal initiatives. This helps them build confidence, develop skills, and earn a steady source of income.
