Launching Project Sabeel Indonesia
We are pleased to announce the official launch of Project Sabeel Indonesia, an extension of our ongoing effort to provide consistent, dignified access to food for underserved communities. This initiative marks the first step in expanding our Makan Gratis (Free Meals) model beyond Singapore, beginning with a pilot site in Jawa Tengah. Each Friday, we aim to distribute 100 freshly prepared meals to individuals and families in need. These meals are not mass-produced or outsourced. Instead, they are cooked by local families to operate from their own warungs.
Why Indonesia?
Indonesia is home to vibrant communities, but many still face food insecurity and economic instability. By embedding this program within the local ecosystem, we are not only addressing hungerโwe are activating hope.
